In May 2007, Adolescents on the Autism Spectrum was awarded the 2006 San Diego Book Award for Best in Health/Fitness. Bradley Steffens, President San Diego Book Awards Association, is seen here congratulating Chantal who was thrilled, as her first book, the UK edition of Autism Spectrum Disorders was the winner in the same category for 2003.Thanks, San Diego! The US edition of Autism Spectrum Disorders went on to win the 2005 ASA Outstanding Literary Award of the Year.
