Years of Autism Speaking Expertise
Well-known for my practical advice on raising teenagers with autism, and preparing for work and college (full day seminar or shorter concurrent sessions), I also provide parent empowerment workshops, as well as autism-specific awareness training to organizations, colleges and workplaces wishing to enhance the knowledge base of their staff. Learning Objectives for CEUs are available.
While autism has been the thread for my books, speaking on re-invention and resilience during times of change has been the fabric for my humorous and motivational keynote speeches for conferences, annual awards dinners and fundraising events.
In over 35 cities in at least 15 states, and in Canada, Qatar, Finland and France, I have been invited to speak by parent and professional organizations, school districts, supported living and employment organizations, area boards, disability organizations, and Autism Society of America chapters (state and local). On a national level, I have presented at the annual conference of the Autism Society of America several times, as well as NATTAP (Network of Autism Training and Technical Assistance Programs), and Autism One (US and Canada).
“…Not only does she bring solidly researched autism material to our audiences of special education teachers, administrators, therapists and parents of ASD children, but she does so with compassion, humor and enthusiasm. Her presentations are even more compelling when she shares personal experiences of raising a son with autism. Her knowledge base on issues of autism is remarkable, as shown in her popular books. We recommend Ms. Sicile-Kira for your presentation needs. Your audience will be fortunate to hear her…”

“…Chantal’s wit, enthusiasm, experience and common sense approach simply won over the audience. Her books have served as great resources for families and are well-researched… She touches on topics that are often ignored such as puberty and adult life issues…In all interactions with Chantal she handled herself professionally, and was flexible and easy to work with.”
